AI Focus Tool stores all your data locally in your browser using localStorage. Nothing is sent to external servers (except when using AI features). To backup or transfer your data, use the Export/Import features in Settings.
Most features work offline, but AI features require an internet connection. The app itself can be loaded and used without internet access after the initial load.
Open a task's details, scroll to the Dependencies section, and click the "+" button to add a dependency. You can also use the "Analyze Dependencies" button on the project page to have AI suggest logical dependencies.
The Critical Path is the sequence of tasks that determines the minimum time needed to complete the project. Tasks on this path (shown with a yellow border in Connected View) have no slack time - delays in these tasks will delay the entire project.
Be specific about what you want in your document prompt. Include details about the format, tone, and specific content you want covered. The AI has access to your project, task, and checklist item context, so it can incorporate relevant details automatically.
Yes, when you create or edit a task, you can set the estimated duration which becomes the default Focus Block time. You can also adjust this when scheduling a block in the Day Planner.
